How to find a local graffiti artist for projects?

Looking to spruce up your environment at home or office?

I will teach you where to look to hire an artist for either interior design with a graffiti piece all the way to guerrilla marketing.

First go somewhere specifically geared towards selling paint for writers i.e not your local arts and crafts store. Tell them you're looking for someone to do some work and leave your contact details. As well it's a good idea to stop at the local record shop and pin up a simple flier on the events wall.

Both of the places above are use to commissions in the real world, but you can also simultaneously try online searching. The benefit of making a listing on sites like Craigslist is you can ask to view portfolios. If anyone replies make sure to check their work and you should be good from there. If lucky you might catch the eye of a famous artist or crew that happens to be passing threw town.

CL > craigslist > gigs > creative gigs

We do this for the love of it, being paid to do it legally is a godsend so just be aware that you don't have to take shit from anyone, there are probably 100 more people willing to do it if they don't.

Common Google:  [State] + "muralists" "urban art" "graffiti store"
